RMS And Spot billing

Consumer Services

  • Daily monitoring of FOC complaints in City Circle & Dns.
  • Daily monitoring of excess billing complaints in City Circle & Dns.
  • Camps are being organized to redress the grievances of consumers in general and “excess billing” in particular.
  • Postcards are available at Divisional and Distribution Center levels. Consumers can send complaints to CEs directly.
  • Wireless communication established in City Circle, Indore.
  • Face lifting of Zones by Augmenting the facilities.
  • Call centre established in Indore City on 15th Aug. 2003
  • Call centre operational both at Indore and Ujjain serving consumers of the respective regions Call Centre working
  • Cheque Drop boxes at 10 Petrol Pumps and all Zonal Call Centre at Indore
    • Control Room established at Circle level.
    • Radio Communication in Indore City.
    • Collection Counter Operation timing increased.
    • Collection Counter Operation in night in Dewas.

Status Of RMS and Spot Billing

  

            RMS Software is developed by CBG Jabalpur and all the implementation is planned and decided by them. This company is fully dependent on CBG for implementation. The Parallel Run of RMS at Jabalpur East Division started in Jan 04. The new version is loaded there after modifications and parallel run is still being continued in the month of April 04. Indore East division has become live from the month of August 04 and Ujjain City Division from September 05. Other all the 3 city divisions of Company are taken up for parallel run and balance 2 O&M divisions will be taken in the subsequent month. It is planned to take all the balance division live by Dec 04

 •         Server room for four City Divisions had setup with required Electrical and Civil work.

 •         Servers of four City Divisions and one O&M Dn is installed at server room and required software loaded on these machines

 •         Temporary LAN was initially setup with 25 computers.

 •         Data entry started with engaging out-sourced agency.

 •         Temporary LAN extended to 35 computers to speed up data entry work.

 

On Spot Billing

 

        On spot billing will start with the rollout of RMS initially in priority division and later on in other divisions as and when the RMS billing is started which is being finalized by CBG form Jabalpur
